Services - Outdrive Repair

Teague Custom Marine can attest that outdrive strength and setup are just as important as engine power and durability in a marine setup. Eliminating drive failures and maximizing your handling with the proper drive and gimbal housing for your application are key to an enjoyable and safe boating experience.

Teague Custom Marine's certifications as a Mercury Marine Premier Service Center, Mercury Marine Platinum parts and accessories dealer, and IMCO's largest marine distributor solidify their authority in the industry to not only supply the product, but repair and maintain it as well. Teague Custom Marine has the high performance stern drives and transom assemblies you need for the rear end of your ride!

The Drive Department at Teague Custom Marine is equipped to handle routine drive repair, preventative maintenance, and also evaluate drives for repair and give detailed estimates to the customer. Teague Custom Marine technicians are Mercury trained and certified to work on their sterndrive products and restore them to factory specifications or make recommendations for upgrades where applicable.

In some cases, Teague Custom Marine does not need the boat present in order to repair the outdrive. Often a client will have their complete boat, engine, and outdrive serviced and inspected but other times, a dealer or retail customer will ship a standalone outdrive unit to be evaluated and repaired. Teague Custom Marine can coordinate the inbound and outbound shipping of stern drives and gimbal housings to domestic and international destinations.

Teague Custom Marine can also assist with outdrive replacement parts needs for product lines ranging from TCM Platinum XR, IMCO, Mercury, and Mercury Racing. Most items are in stock and ready to ship or can be put into production the same day.
